Job Overview:

We are seeking a Customer Care Specialist to join our Service team. As a Customer Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients as their vehicle is in our service department. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner. Some Saturdays required, no Sundays.

Duties:

– Answer incoming customer calls and emails promptly and professionally

– Provide accurate information about products, services, and promotions

– Assist customers with service scheduling, tracking, and billing

– Upsell products and services to increase sales revenue

– Perform data entry tasks to update customer information in the system

– Make outbound calls to follow up on customer inquiries or resolve issues

– Communicate effectively in English

– Maintain a high level of product knowledge to address customer inquiries effectively

– Handle customer complaints or concerns with empathy and professionalism

– Collaborate with other team members to ensure customer satisfaction

Qualifications:

– Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred

Overview:

We are seeking an Automotive Technician in Training to join our team. As an Automotive Technician, In Training you will be responsible for performing a variety of automotive repair and maintenance tasks, under the direct supervision of and in conjunction with a Master Technician. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Duties:

– Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements

– Diagnose and repair various automotive issues, such as engine problems, electrical systems, and brake malfunctions

– Conduct vehicle inspections and provide accurate assessments of necessary repairs

– Align and balance wheels to ensure proper vehicle handling

– Utilize dealership software to access vehicle information and update service records

– Maintain a clean and organized work area

– Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and answering questions

Requirements:

– A willingness to learn as an Automotive Technician.

– Strong mechanical knowledge and basic understanding of automotive systems

Automotive Detailer

The Automobile Detailer cleans and refurbishes new and used automobiles owned by the Dealership and by customers. S/he will work in a fast paced environment striving for quality workmanship and satisfied customers.

Job Responsibilities include:

Buffing, washing, and waxing vehicle exteriors
Shampooing, vacuuming, and cleaning complete vehicle interiors
Clean engine compartments
Dress tires and exterior trim
Complete vehicle inspection

Qualifications:

Valid driver’s license and a good driving record
Excellent attendance
Ability to use power hand tools and other machinery safely
Ability to maneuver automobiles in tight spaces
Ability to make decisions, handle pressure, and work without direct supervision.

This is a physically demanding position. Detailers will stand, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and reach six to eight hours per shift.

Automotive Sevice Technician

Tanner Motors is looking to hire a Automotive Service Tech. There is plenty of work and we’re looking for the right team member to add to our already successful team.

Job Responsibilities: As a General Automotive Technician, you will be working in a total car care repair center, with jobs ranging from standard maintenance to transmission R&R, to electrical diagnostics and everything in between. This position will be responsible for explaining technical diagnoses and needed repairs to service staff and team members. Other responsibilities of the General Automotive Technician will include:

  • Diagnose and repair automotive systems — brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, air conditioning and computer systems
  • Transmission Removal and Installation
  • Assist other technicians in performing technical activities
  • Keep store management aware of mechanical repair problems and inventory supply needs
  • Maintain an organized work environment
  • Recommending and performing appropriate diagnostic repairs with efficiency, accuracy and in accordance with factory and service center standards
  • General mechanical knowledge and automotive experience required.

Job Requirements: To be qualified for the General Automotive Technician position, you must have at least 2+ years of automotive mechanical diagnosis, problem-solving, and repair experience. The General Automotive Technician is also required to provide strong leadership skills and a customer-focused attitude to go along with a high level of motivation and energy.

Other requirements include:

  • Appropriate Diagnostic tools necessary for service performed
  • Current driver’s license
  • Ability to communicate solutions to others
  • Must be punctual and bring a positive attitude to work everyday
  • Some knowledge of electrical systems
  • Willingness to further training and technical expertise.
  • ASE Certifications / Master ASE certification is preferred but not required
  • Safe working knowledge of shop tools and equipment such as Scanners, electrical diagnostic equipment, AC recovery equipment, Fluid Exchange Equipment, Lift operation, etc.
